Nuttar Water.
Nuttar water is the only fluid cleared for consumption inside the perimeter. It is drawn from a tank on the north side that nobody at HQ will point to directly, though everybody knows the way.
The colour is wrong in a manner that is difficult to put in a report, so the report simply says COMPLIANT and moves on. Field chemistry has never returned a stable reading. One sample logged as spring water. The next, from the same jug, logged as something the machine refused to name and then needed restarting.
It does not taste like water. It tastes like a decision you already regret making, served cold. OPERATIVE FILE 019, HYDRATION LOG
OBSERVED EFFECTS
Operatives who drink it report improved night vision, worsened judgement, and a persistent sense that the fridge is listening. All three are considered acceptable trade-offs for staying hydrated on the Flats.
HANDLING PROTOCOL
Do not offer it to visitors. Do not photograph the tank. Refill only between the hours that do not exist. If the water is warm when it leaves the tap, it is not redacted redacted and should not be consumed.
